For those who have a keen interest in the arts, there are numerous art galleries, craft markets and live music events to feed the soul. The Linear Park Arts Discovery Trail features murals, mosaics and more. This community arts project follows Hazel Creek, a location where the land’s traditional owners, the Brayakoloong people used to camp. 

Meanwhile, there are many hidden treasures to discover in Warragul, such as the Crossover Bridge — a timber bridge estimated to have been built in 1892 to form part of an old rail line.

Getting out and adventuring is easily achieved as a Lillifield resident. Your weekends and any spare time can be filled with dirt biking, horse riding and mountain biking. 

In the snow season, it’s only a 90-minute drive to take on the slopes at Mount Baw Baw. Meanwhile, family fun is abundant year-round at Gumbuya World less than half an hour away — the waterpark, rides and wildlife park are guaranteed to entertain all ages.
